About Sohaib

An AI engineer in London, working where agents, financial infrastructure, and reliable backend systems meet.

I care about the point where an intelligent decision becomes a real system outcome, and about the evidence required to trust what happened in between.

01 · Current practice

I am Sohaib Benamor, an AI & Infrastructure Analyst in London. My current work spans internal agentic workflows and large-scale data reconciliation for financial systems. It has made one idea increasingly concrete for me: intelligence only becomes useful when the surrounding system can make its decisions observable, bounded, and correct.

02 · Foundation

I completed an MSc in Artificial Intelligence with Distinction at King's College London, after undergraduate study at the University of Birmingham. My postgraduate research focuses on mixed-integer optimisation, candidate reduction, experimental validation, and making formal models easier to express and maintain.

03 · Direction

I am now deepening the product and backend side of that work: reliable services, API contracts, event-driven systems, data integrity, and financial-infrastructure domain knowledge. I use AI aggressively for exploration and execution, but not as a substitute for understanding, verification, or accountability.
