What I work on

AI is where much of my curiosity begins. The surrounding system is where I want to do the work.

I joined Upvest in September 2026 through UpRise, its 12-month Engineering Accelerator. I am deepening my understanding of Go services, API contracts, event-driven systems, and the investment infrastructure behind the client experience.

Before Upvest, I worked on internal agentic workflows and financial-data reconciliation at Lendable. That brought me closer to the questions I keep returning to: what a system is allowed to do, how we know what actually happened, and what we do when the two diverge.

I use AI throughout my work, while keeping responsibility for the reasoning, verification, and result.

My postgraduate research centres on mixed-integer optimisation: translating a real allocation problem into a model, implementing it, and testing what its results actually establish. I am the first and corresponding author of a teaching-assistant allocation study under review at the Journal of the Operational Research Society.
